The Value Investment Partners (“VIP”) Investment Strategy begins with extensive and continuous research to determine the most attractive Metropolition Statistical Area (MSA) throughout the United States. Once an MSA is selected, further submarket analysis is conducted to find the right value-add multifamily property to pursue. We leverage both public and private data and tools to identify opportunities in the selected markets with growth characteristics, such as increased employment growth, increased rents, and a reduction in vacancies, amongst a number of other supporting metrics. Historically, Multifamily has been a stablized real estate asset class during downturns while still offering strong upside potential during upcycles. VIP uses market reports from CoStar, ESRI, REIS and Axiometrics and other government data i.e. census, and past property information, to support informed investment decisions about multifamily properties. Multifamily assets, Class B & C, provides one of the most attractive investment opportunities due to market forces and the strong and growing demand and limited new supply of affordable workforce housing.
